We Eat Ottawa - Pita Pit

I have fond memories of the Edmonton Pita Pit from university days, but not that I've revisted in later years, the place is not that great.


I think it was a lack of pita & burrito joints in E-town at the time that made the Pit so yummy.


Last night while in Ottawa, I swung by for a quick dinner of falafel with baba ganoush and a whole bunch of veggies on whole wheat. It was decent, but realistically doesn't compare to the saucy goodness of almost any falafel hut in Toronto (or Pita & Grill in Mississauga).


You probably can't beat the healthiness though with a ton of fresh veggies and whole wheat pita.
