I was slightly disturbed this past weekend to discover that smore making is not common knowledge. So here's how you do it!
1. Get out two graham wafer crackers. On one side, place a piece of chocolate. I recommend a square of milk chocolate from some sort of bar.
2. Toast two large marshmallows. Try not to light on fire.
3. Place marshmallows between cookies and enjoy!
That's it!!!
If you want to go really fancy, you can place the crackers with chocolate on a tray near the fire to better melt the chocolate.

Here's another camping favourite. (I don't recall the name of it) Carefully peel a banana removing no more then 1/3 of the peel lengthwise while keeping one end of the peel still attached to the banana. Carefully scoop out the banana leaving the rest of the peel intact. Mash the banana, add semi sweet chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. Stuff the peel with the banana mixture (You'll probably now have more banana mixture then you know what to do with. Maybe your smores friend has left over graham crackers...yum) Close up the banana and wrap tightly in foil. Throw the banana on open fire and let cook. Carefully (operative word here) unwrap banana and eat the ooey gooey mess with a spoon. Mz K.
