Every April, Ontario & Quebec kayakers flock to Queensborough to run the Upper & Lower sections of the Black river. For those that may not know where this is (Ian) - it's near Madoc off of highway 7. For those who still do not know where this is, it's 3 hours North East of T.
A pack of locals put together a pie/bbq eating event as a fund raiser for misc playground building activities.
This year, I've partaken in the bumble berry and cherry pies. Both were very tasty and highly recommended for a mere $2 or so per slice.
Other years, I've eaten the chocolate cupcakes & cinnamon buns...mmmmmm.
